Frequently Asked Questions About Trees

  • What makes us different from other tree companies?

Our staff is what distinguishes us from other tree service companies. We hire quality individuals who are eager to learn and take pride in the work they do. We then train and develop them so that they are able to meet the needs of clients. We believe that our people are the key to our success.

  • Are you insured?

A: Yes. We carry both workers' compensation and commercial liability insurance. We can provide insurance certificates upon request, and they will be sent to you directly from the insurance companies.

  • What are the benefits of hiring an arborist?

Arborists are specialized in the care of individual trees. Arborists know what trees need and are equipped and trained to care for them properly. A decision to hire an arborist should not be taken lightly. Tree care is an investment that can bring substantial rewards. Trees that are well-maintained can add considerable value to your home. Trees that are poorly maintained are a liability. Pruning or removing trees can be dangerous, especially large trees. Working on trees should only be performed by those who are trained and equipped to do so safely. According to ISA.

  • Would you be able to do for me what my current tree service cannot?

Clients tell us we provide better quality products, services, and competence than their previous contractor, which is the reason they selected us. Customers choose our company because of our outstanding reputation in the industry.

  • Do you accept credit cards?

A: Not at this time. However, you can pay with your credit card via PayPal. The process is safe and secure.

  • Why should I consider switching tree service companies?

When your current tree care company meets your every need and you are completely satisfied, it may not be necessary to change. Please contact us if you are interested in discussing ways of adding value to your property and improving it over time.

  • How can I contact you for more information?

If you have any requests or information needed, please contact us via phone, fax, or email and we will be more than happy to assist you. Visit our contact page to get in touch.

  • What is the process for getting a bid from you?

You can either call us to schedule a meeting with a Certified Arborist to discuss the bid, or we can provide a written estimate. There is no charge for an estimate.

  • How much will your services cost?

The answer depends on your property and your specific specifications. In order to meet your expectations for quality and customer service, we spend more time determining realistic prices. You shouldn't have to pay for services your trees don't need, nor should we exclude services they need.

  • How come my tree can't be topped?

Topping is regarded as unprofessional. Toppling is specifically prohibited in ANSI standards for tree care. In addition to promoting decay, topping encourages rapid growth of weakly attached sprouts and limbs. It weakens the tree's vigor and causes it to starve by reducing its leaves.

  • Is there something wrong with my tree? What should I do? Should it be pruned, pest managed, fertilized, or removed?

There can be a variety of reasons why a tree needs care - the diagnosis may not be obvious. Arborists identify the problem area(s), recommend a program for treatment and carry out the necessary procedure(s). The tree care we provide is proactive (preventive) - avoiding decline and damage rather than responding to problems after they occur.

  • What is the recommended watering schedule for newly planted trees?

If there is no rain, trees and shrubs planted recently should be watered approximately twice a week. Irrigation water should be directed towards the root ball of the tree(s), where most of the live roots are found. Arborists can install moisture meters (tensiometers) to determine how much water plants need.
